dMGer (DesmethylGerminone) is a potent and selective HTL/KAI2 (KAI2) agonist, inhibits KAI2-dependent dMYLG hydrolysis with IC50 of 46 nM.
dMGer is a more specific KAI2 agonist than Germinone (Ger).
dMGer clearly lowered the melting temperature of KAI2 in DSF assays, but not Ger.
dMGer specifically induces the interaction between KAI2 and SMAX1.
dMGer retains the ability to simply bind to DWARF14 (D14).
dMGer is a potent seed germination stimulant that functions as a chemical agonist of the KAI2 receptor and bypasses the GA-dependent pathway.
