WAY-267464 hydrochloride (WAY267464) is a potent, selective, non-peptide oxytocin receptor (OXTR) agonist with Ki of 58.4 nM, >100-fold selectivity over V1a, V2, V1b receptors.
WAY-267464 exhibits an anxiolytic-like profile similar to oxytocin (OT), also significantly reverses disruption in prepulse inhibition of the acoustic startle reflex induced by either MK-801 or amphetamine in vivo.
