VU533 is a small molecule activator of N-acyl-phosphatidylethanolamine hydrolyzing phospholipase D (NAPE-PLD) with EC50 of 0.3 uM, enhances efferocytosis by macrophages.
VU533 (10 uM) increases the NAPE-PLD activity of RAW264.7 macrophages.
VU533 enhances efferocytosis in a NAPE-PLD-dependent manner in bone-marrow derived macrophages (BMDM).
