生物&药学活性

VNI-5168 is a potent, small molecule inhibitor of HSV-1 UL12 alkaline nuclease with IC50 of 0.63 uM and MST Kd value of 0.145 uM, shows broad anti-HSV activity.
VNI-5168 exhibited antiviral activity against HSV-1 with EC50 of 0.42 uM.
VNI-5168 is also effective against alkaline nucleases from the b-HHV HCMV (UL98) and the g-HHV KSHV (SOX).
VNI-5168 also shows significant inhibition of HCMV, consistent with their potency against the UL98 enzyme.
VNI-5168 demonstrates antiviral activity against HSV-1 and HCMV in cell culture.
