Urea transport inhibitor 25a is a competitive, orally available inhibitor of urea transporters with IC50 of 0.14 μM and 0.48 μM against UT-B in rats and mice, respectively, inhibits both UT-A1 and UT-B.
25a showed strong inhibitory activity against both UT-B and UT-A1 at 8 uM.
