UNC-3230 (UNC3230) is a selective, small molecule inhibitor of PIP5K1C with IC50 of 41 nM, does not ihibits other lipid kinases including PI3Ks.
UNC-3230 shows selectivity (Kd<0.2 uM) for PIP5K1C and PIP4K2C.
UNC-3230 significantly reduces membrane PIP2 levels by ~45% in DRG neurons at 100 nM, also reduces LPA-evoked calcium signaling.
UNC-3230 demonstrates antinociceptive effects, reduces thermal and mechanical sensitization in models of chronic pain.
