SRT1720 (SRT-1720) is a potent, selective SIRT1 activator with EC1.5 of 0.16 uM.
SRT 1720 displays good selectivity for activation of SIRT1 versus SIRT2 (EC1.5=37 uM) and SIRT3 (EC1.5>300 uM).
SRT 1720 is 1,000-fold more potent than resveratrol.
SRT 1720 improves insulin sensitivity, lower plasma glucose, and increases mitochondrial capacity in obese mice model.
