SNAP5114 (SNAP-5114) is a potent, selective GABA transport 3 (GAT3) inhibitor with IC50 of 5, 21, 388 and 140 uM for hGAT-3, rGAT-2, hGAT-1 and BGT-1, respectively.
SNAP5114 increases thalamic GABA levels and is an anticonvulsant following systemic administration in vivo.
