Olodaterol (BI 1744) is a potent, selective long-acting β2 adrenoceptor agonist with EC50 of 1.4 nM for hβ2.
Olodaterol shows >250 fold selectivity over hβ1.
Olodaterol exerts a bronchodilatory efficacy over 24 h in dogs and guinea pigs in the absence of systemic pharmacodynamic effects.
