Obatoclax (GX15-070) is a potent inhibitor of Bcl-2 family with IC50s of 1-7 uM for Bcl-2, Bcl-XL, Bcl-w, Bcl-B, Mcl-1 and Bfl-1.
Obatoclax (GX15-070) potently interferes with the direct interaction between MCL-1 and BAK in intact mitochondrial outer membrane and inhibits the association between MCL-1 and BAK in intact cells.
Obatoclax (GX15-070) induces autophagy-dependent cell death and targets cyclin D1 for proteasomal degradation.
Obatoclax Mesylate has anti-cancer and broad-spectrum antiparasitic activity.
