NGB-2904 (NGB2904) is a potent, highly selective dopamine D3 receptor (D3R) antagonist with Ki of 2.0 nM for hD3, 56-fold selectivity over hD2.
NGB 2904 inhibits cocaine's rewarding effects and cocaine-induced reinstatement of drug-seeking behavior in rats.
NGB 2904 inhibits cocaine cue-induced reinstatement of drug-seeking behavior in rats.
NGB 2904 (1.0 mg/kg) stimulated spontaneous locomotion in wild-type mice, but was without measurable effect in dopamine D3 receptor knockout mice.
