Milnacipran hydrochloride (F2207, Midalcipran) is is an antidepressant agent via selective inhibiting the uptake of monoamines, inhibits the uptake of radiolabelled serotonin and noradrenaline with IC50 of 203 and 100 nM, respectively, but not dopamine, shows no inhibition of the activity of monoamine oxidase in vitro or in vivo.
