Marbostat-100 is a potent, selective HDAC6 inhibitor with Ki of 0.7 nM, displays >200-fold selectivity over HDAC1-5, and HDAC7-10.
Marbostat-100 is a more selective HDAC6i than previously established well-characterized compounds.
Marbostat-100 is well tolerated by mice and demonstrates in vivo anti-inflammatory activity against collagen type II induced arthritis, represents a most selective known HDAC6i and the possibility for clinical evaluation of a HDAC isoform-specific drug.
