MPT0G521 (HDAC6-IN-3) is a potent, orally active dual KDM1A/class I HDAC inhibitor with IC50 of 0.02-1.54 uM for HDAC1/2/3/6/8/10, also inhibits lysine-specific demethylase 1A (KDM1A, LSD1).
MPT0G521 elicits magnificent cell growth inhibitory effects against the PC-3 and DU-145 cell lines with GI50 of 0.33 uM and 0.42 uM respectively.
MPT0G521 inhibits KDM1A activity and alters histone modifications in GBM cells.
MPT0G521 triggers G2/M arrest followed by apoptotic sub-G1 accumulation.
MPT0G521 induces apoptotic signaling and suppresses Cyclin B1 in GBM cells.
