LC-0296 (LC0296) is a selective sirtuin-3 (SIRT3) inhibitor with IC50 of 3.6 uM, shows 20- and 10-fold selectivity over SIRT1 and SIRT2 respectively.
LC-0296 (75 uM) inhibits HNSCC cell survival without affecting normal human oral keratinocytes.
LC-0296 inhibits cell growth and proliferation and promotes apoptosis of HNSCC cells.
LC-0296 enhances the sensitivity of HNSCC cells to both radiation and chemotherapeutic drugs.
LC-0296 inhibits de-acetylation by SIRT3 and increases mitochondrial protein acetylation in HNSCC cells.
LC-0296 inhibits cell survival and enhances apoptosis via modulating reactive oxygen species (ROS) levels in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) cells.
