KY19382 is a small molecule activator of Wnt/β-catenin signalling, effectively inhibits both GSK3β kinase activity and CXXC5-DVL interaction with IC50 of 10 nM and 19 nM respectively.
KY19382 binds to the DVL PDZ domain.
KY19382 promotes chondrocyte proliferation and differentiation via specific activation of the Wnt/β-catenin pathway.
KY19382 (0.1 mg/kg, i.p.) delays growth plate senescence and promotes longitudinal bone growth in mice.
KY19382 activates the Wnt/β‐catenin signalling more effectively than I3O and showed low cytotoxicity in human DP cells.
KY19382 elongates rodent vibrissa and human hair shaft and mouse dorsal hair.
KY19382 significantly induced the hair follicle neogenesis as shown in hairless mice injected with dermal cells and keratinocytes and wounded mice treated with KY19382.
