KGR-53P (Ac-Tle-hGlu(tBu)-hCha-Asp-AOMK) is a peptidic inhibitor of Caspase-11, inhibits LPS-induced pyroptosis in BMDMs with IC50 of 4 uM, inhibits caspase-11-dependent pyroptosis.
KGR-53P blocks LPS-induced GSDMD cleavage, as well as caspase-11-dependent secretion of IL-1β and IL-18.
KGR-53P does not protect BMDMs from venetoclax-induced intrinsic apoptosis and thymocytes from Fas ligand (FasL)-induced extrinsic apoptosis.
KGR-53P inhibits caspase-11-dependent pyroptosis.
KGR-53P reduces serum IL-1β and IL-18 in mice treated with LPS.
