JA310 is a potent, highly selective inhibitor of the mammalian sterile 20-like serine/threonine (MST) family member MST3 (STK24) with ITC KD value of 115 nM.
JA310 strongly binds to MST3 with EC50 values of 106 and 76 nM for the intact and permeabilized cells, respectively, does not affect MST1 and MST2, and shows comparatively weaker activity for MST4.
JA310 is a chemical probe and shows an excellent kinome-wide selectivity and an in vitro potency of 76 nM and a cellular EC50 value of 106 nM for MST3, and is a suitable chemical tool for studying the role of MST3 in cellular systems.
