ICI-118551 hydrochloride (Zenidolol) is a potent, selective β2-adrenergic receptor (ADRB2, beta(2)-AR) antagonist with Ki of 0.7, 49.5 and 611 nM for β2, β1 and β3 adrenergic receptors respectively.
ICI-118551 reversed the effect of (R)-salbutamol in ameliorating acute colitis.
ICI-118551 protectes SH-SY5Y cells against staurosporine-induced apoptosis through a dual action on the mitochondria and on caspase 9.
ICI-118551 effectively attenuated ISO-induced growth and survival of HCC cells.
