HW201877 is a potent, selective and orally active 15-hydroxyprostaglandin dehydrogenase (15-PGDH) inhibitor with IC50 of 3.6 nM.
HW201877 exhibits robust cellular efficacy in elevating PGE2 levels in A549 cells (4.8-fold increase vs control).
HW201877 (0.5, 1.0, or 2.0 mg/kg, BID) marked reductions in pulmonary fibrosis scores, achieving comparable therapeutic efficacy in a bleomycin-induced rat pulmonary fibrosis model.
