GDC-0917 (CUDC-427) is a potent second-generation pan-selective inhibitor of apoptosis (IAP) proteins antagonist with binding affinities to the BIR3 domains of X-IAP and cIAP1/2, and the BIR domain of ML-IAP in the low nanomolar range (Ki < 60 nM).
GDC-0917 (CUDC-427) caused a decrease in cell viability in MDA-MB-231 human breast cancer cells while having no effect on normal human mammary epithelial cells.
GDC-0917 (CUDC-427) is orally bioactive.
