Daminozide is a plant growth regulator and selective inhibitor of KDM2/7 JmjC subfamily with IC50 of 1.5 uM, 0.55 uM and 2.1 uM for KDM2A, PHF8 and KIAA1718 respectively.
Daminozide is >100-fold selective over KDM3A and other demethylases.
Daminozide is a competitive inhibitor with respect to 2OG (Ki=1.97 uM), but not peptide substrates.
