Cagrilintide acetate (AM833) is a long-acting amylin analogue as a nonselective amylin receptor (AMYR) and calcitonin G protein-coupled receptor (CTR) agonist with binding IC50 of 170 and 223 pM, and cAMP EC50 of 348 and 287 pM for hAMY3R and hCTR respectively.
Cagrilintide has demonstrated interesting clinical performance on body weight and is intended to assist in treatment of obesity-probably in combination with semaglutide.
