CMS121 (CMS-121) is a small molecule fatty acid synthase (FASN) inhibitor, reduces lipid peroxidation and neuroinflammation both in vitro and in vivo.
CMS121 is able to rescue cells from oxytotic/ferroptotic cell death.
CMS121 decreases lipid peroxidation and has anti-inflammatory properties, modulates lipid metabolism.
CMS121 alleviates cognitive loss, modulates lipid metabolism and reduces inflammation and lipid peroxidation in the brains of transgenic AD mice.
