CLM296 (CLM-296) is a highly potent, selective inhibitor of Aldehyde dehydrogenase 1A3 (ALDH1A3) with IC50 of 2 nM for inhibition of ALDH1A3 in TNBC cells.
CLM296 inhibits ALDH1A3-mediated Aldefluor fluorescence and is specific for ALDH1A3.
CLM296 (100 nM) specifically blocks ALDH1A3-mediated gene expression changes in TNBC cells.
CLM296 (0.4 and 4 mg/kg, i.p.) in specifically impedes ALDH1A3-mediated tumor growth and metastasis in MDA-MB-231 ALDH1A3 OE tumor-bearing mice.
