CHDI-390576 (CHDI390576) is a potent, cell permeable and CNS penetrant class IIa HDAC inhibitor with IC50 of 54/60/31/50 nM for HDAC4/5/7/9, respectively,
CHDI-390576 displays >500-fold selectivity over class I HDAC/1/2/3 and 150-fold selectivity over HDAC8 and the class IIb HDAC6.
CHDI-390576 was well-tolerated and showed no significant effect on passive observations, responses to manipulations, body weight, or body temperature in PK studies.
