BI605906 is a potent, specific IKKβ inhibitor with IC50 of 380 nM (0.1 mM ATP), does not suppress signaling downstream of mTOR or activate AMPK.
BI605906 inhibits TNF-α-dependent IκB degradation and expression of proinflammatory mediators interleukin-6, interleukin-1β, and CXCL1/2 in vivo.
BI605906 partially inhibits the IL-1-stimulated activation of IKKε/TBK1.
