BC-21 (NSC 109268) is a novel small molecule inhibitor that effectively inhibits the β-catenin/Tcf4 interaction with Ki of 6.55 uM.
BC-21 (NSC 109268) decreases the viability of β-catenin overexpressing HCT116 colon cancer cells that harbor the β-catenin mutation, and inhibits the clonogenic activity of these cells.
BC-21 (NSC 109268) inhibits Wnt/β-catenin signaling and down-regulates c-Myc and cyclin D1 expression in HCT116 cells.
