AKT inhibitor VIII is a selective, allosteric Akt inhibitor with IC50 of 58/210 for Akt1/2 respectively.
AKT inhibitor VIII shows weak activity for Akt3 (IC50=2.12 uM).
AKT inhibitor VIII inhibits basal and IGF stimulated Akt1 and Akt2 phosphorylation in mouse lung, with no effect on Akt3 phosphorylation.
