6-Shogaol ([6]-Shogaol) is an active compound isolated from ginger root (Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens) with various biological activities including anticancer, anti-inflammation, and anti-oxidation, inhibits breast and colon cancer cell proliferation through activation of PPARγ.
6-Shogaol inhibits breast and colon cancer cell proliferation through activation of peroxisomal proliferator activated receptor gamma (PPARgamma).
6-Shogaol inhibits PMA-stimulated MDA-MB-231 cell invasion with an accompanying decrease in MMP-9 secretion, decreases NF-κB transcriptional activity.
6-shogaol induces apoptosis, modulates cyclins expression and targets cancer survival signaling pathways in HCC cell lines.
