10-Shogaol ([10]-Shogaol) is an active component of steamed ginger increases adrenaline secretion via the activation of TRPV1, also partially activates 5-HT1A receptor with Ki of 3-20 uM, also inhibits PMA-stimulated MDA-MB-231 cell invasion by reducing MMP-9 expression, also inhibits COX-2 with IC50 of 7.5 uM.
